We have recdays and social planned for before easter. It is well worth putting your name down if you haven't played any paintball yet this year. Come along to the socials and catch up on all the latest news and info about YOUR club.

Check out the new picture galleries, AU Ball and Campaign cup!!

Well welcome back all! We finished term with a bang (well some did!), with the Christmas Fancy dress pub crawl, which judging by the photos was a huge success and enjoyed by many. The photos will be up as soon as i get some time (next 3 weeks hopefully!) as i have huge amounts of final yr course work atm! DOH!! We welcome our new social secretaries Nim and Carleigh who will be addressing our social needs with many brilliant ideas. If you have got any of your own... i know its unlikely, then email them. (see contacts page). Also our new Treasurer is now the law with all club funds. (Be nice to Mike he has the money)

If you would like to see more about the paintball club in the Uni press then write a short article (1 page A4 ish) and we will submit it to go into purple wednesdays!! I am sure there are some budding reporters out there!!

If you have any good pics from rec days that you think should go on the web then bring them in on tuesday and i will scan them for the website!! or email me them!! alex@specialhouse.kicks-ass.net

Welcome to a new month, and another 30 days fun and games! I hope to see as many of you as possible at the weekly club socials, we have some regulars now which is really great, but some of you are a little more elusive! We have a Curry Night planned for this month (see Club Social Events page), it will be wicked. Come along you won't regret there is a good nights fun to be had by all!

Well, we did do it in style!! The skool uniform pub crawl was a big success! 9 pub stops in 4 hrs then a marathon in the Union Club 'Lux'. Drinking games, drinking races, laughs, tears and of course songs. Especially on the safety bus (mini bus) on the way home at the end of the night for the lucky ones! A thank you for all those who came along. Looking forward to the next one already ;-P

Check out the Club Paintball Events page for the up and coming freshers liberation day! hardcore in the woods balling! (Or whateva you want it to be ;-P)

We had a great fresher's fayre this year with over 120 new members signing up! We have lots of exciting events this year, including over 5 Rec paintballing days, pub crawls, club socials every week to relieve all that pressure from all the hard work everyone's doing... well maybe ;-P We all hope to see and get to know everyone on Tuesdays so don't be a stranger!! we don't bite,...unless you ask of course. ;-)

2002/2003

The BBC have recently shown us on the news, with an article about the team showing how we are progressing and explaining tournament paintball to a wider public audience.

Planning has begun for this years Freshers Fayre. We are looking for use of a laptop for a few days during the first week of October, if you know of someone who is willing to let us use one or if you have one we could borrow, we would be most grateful.

The Team had a wicked time at the World Cup in Toulouse, see the TEAM section for full details.

Thank you to all members who have put in effort to the running of the Club. After all, the club is only as good as its members!

Due to people being too busy or not giving a duck, the end of year paintball rec day has had to be cancelled. Our next rec day will be early next year.

Our website gets a huge number of visitors every day, i though you might like a look at the stats, average number of visitors a day is 22!

:

On Wednesday 20th March at Langston Campus, members of the team were filmed for an article by Portsmouth TV. We set up some sup' air bunkers and did some running around for the cameras. We will be on TV on the 21st March at 3pm and there after during the day every hour!

CHECK OUT THE PICTURE GALLERY! THE TEAM IS IN THE PAPER!!

BBC South Today want to do an article on the Team as we are going to France in the Summer representing the University of Portsmouth!

!IMPORTANT!

DUE TO GEOCITIES CHANGING THERE WEB HOSTING FACILITIES, THIS WEBSITE WILL NOW BE HOSTED AT http://upsupball.netfirms.com (THE OLD URL WILL STILL WORK THOUGH IT MAY LEAD TO SLOWER LOADING TIMES.)

The pub crawl on the 1st March was our best yet, we all ended up in the union very pissed after having far too much blood in our alcohol systems!

I am proud to say that we are currently ranked well in the Paintballer.com 100 site ratings! Please keep voting for this site by clicking on the 'VOTE' pictures on the 3 main pages. Thanks for your support!

This year we have many exciting days planned, and lots of tournaments to play. Please email social event ideas to (Rich, Social Secretary) or the club email address. How about themed pub crawl? If you got a good idea then let him know!

Check out when the NEXT GAME is on the "Club paintball events" page NOW!
