(or rec-ball) as it is more commonly known, is undoubtedly the image of paintball that you have in your head right now.
It is the 'hobby' side of paintball, the team building corporate exercise, the stag do, the teenage birthday party.

It is pretty much the only way into paintball, I know I wouldn't like to go straight into a tournament - the nearest thing I can think of would be getting in an F1 car before learning to drive. Tournament's really are that different to rec-ball.
