GERMANY - MAXS MASTERS has come and gone, and well, it was awesome!!
One of the best tournaments i have played. Excellent organization
which was superbly efficient. Well done to all the players who took
part. I was impressed by how the team bonded and played by the second
day. I would also like to thank our sponsors for their continuing
support. And a thankyou to our guesting player Hotpoint, as rich
said we will call you Uncle Hotpoint from now on ;-p.
Well, they left today for PORTUGAL! i was there to wave the brave
soles off. A tearful departure was avoided (like it was eva on
the books ;-p) and they set off to do our Uni pround in the theatre
of International Paintball. Good luck guys n gals.

Worzel bash a success, all had a wicked time and got really drunk.

Back from Campaign after a blazing tourney, and we are ready
for this year brings, with the inter-uni tourney coming up and
a series 2002 tourney the day after it is gona be balling thick
and fast! YIPPEE!

We are off to play the Campaign Cup on 12th - 15th September.
We are all looking forward to what will hopefully be another successful
outing.
BBC South Today came filmed us playing up at Temple on the 22nd.
It has been shown a few days ago on the news! It showed how we
are progressing in the sport, and promoting Paintball to a wider
public audience.
We have just returned from the World Cup in France, and it was
awesome!! Excellently well done to all the Team representing the
University and Country! An especially big thank you to Rich
Sutton for organising us to go to France, also a big thank
you to Mat & Amy for driving there and back with our
kit and bussing us around when we were there! Much appreciated

'BBC South Today' are going to be filming and interviewing
Team members on the 22nd - 23rd June!! Watch this space for details!!!

Bad news about the Inter uni tourney, it has been cancelled due
to some students not getting off their arses. We couldn't get
enough teams to make it viable. Maybe next year then...
Welcome back to a brand new term and another whole world of challenging
tourneys!! First one is Sunday 7th at Temple.
The NEW TEAM TOPS are becoming more of a
reality now! Currently they are gonna be the lightning ones purple
of course! For details come to the pub on Tuesday or email the
club.
BBC South Today, are hopefully gonna film
us at Campaign some time soon after easter. (Watch this space,
and your TVs!)
On Wednesday 20th March at Langston Campus, members of the team
were filmed for an article by Portsmouth TV. We set up some sup'
air bunkers and did some running around for the cameras. We will
be on TV on the 21st March!

UPSU Paintball Club will be entering the World Cup in Tolouse (France) in July, and competing with the Worlds best paintball teams in an open tournament!! It is a 7 man event with 80 - 100 teams taking part!
The best part is that the Union, yes the Union, i shit you not. Are paying for us to go!!
There is a god! (If not 4 years late!) We wish them the best of luck!!
There will be hopefully at least one tournament each month for
those that can afford it and possibly two!, so for you fanatics
out there here we come!
